Terms & Conditions

1. About us
madelo.co.uk is operated by Madi Apthorpe, a sole trader trading as madelo, based in the United Kingdom. 

2. Products
All items are handmade in the UK. Because our pieces are individually crafted, there may be small natural variations in texture, size, or finish between the photographs and the item you receive — this is part of the handmade nature of the piece rather than a fault.

3. Pricing
All prices are listed in GBP and shipping is calculated at checkout. madelo is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added at checkout.

4. Made-to-order & one-of-a-kind items
Some items are made to order and dispatch times vary by piece — estimated timeframes will be shown on the product page or communicated at the time of order. One-of-a-kind pieces are unique and, once sold, cannot be recreated exactly.

5. Ordering process
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms we have received your order, not that a binding contract has been formed — a contract is formed once we dispatch your item.

6. Delivery
Delivery timeframes vary depending on the item and will be communicated at checkout or by email. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers once an item has been dispatched, though we will assist with any queries.
